Donation to the Steel Pan Band 

Handover of 100 books to the

Jamaica Library Service

ON Friday, July 27th 2023 the ICHS Alumnae Association handed over 100 copies of "From the Heart. Family. Community. Service." written by Dr. Mary Ann Chambers, Class of 1967 and ICHS Hall of Fame inductee, and donated by philanthropist Dr. Donette Chin-Loy Chang, Class of 1972,  The two accomplished ICHS Alumnae were recognized for their achievements and contributions. 

Dr. Chambers' book, "From the Heart", was highlighted as an inspirational read that encourages readers to dream big, achieve their goals, and be socially responsible. The Jamaica Library Service Director General Maureen Thompson expressed gratitude for donation of the books to their high school libraries and praised the impact it would have on others. She also emphasized the importance of community and service, and celebrated the powerful women produced by Immaculate Conception High School.
